The 9th edition of Paris Electronic Week took place from the 22th to the 24th of September 2021 in Paris. This multidisciplinary event gathers professionals and the general public during 3 days in the Gaité Lyrique for conferences, workshops and masterclasses. As this is the third consecutive year that the festival has asked me to create their identity, I had to take into account Gaîté Lyrique’s graphical identity.
Rooted in a modern and digital era, this identity also marks a radical change with the previous ones which revolved around geometric shapes. The organic aspect of the forms also echoes a return to the essentials that brought the health crisis. In addition to the 3D shapes, a palette of four colors mixing shades of gray and purple has been developed allowing a differentiation of the four main themes: music, inclusion, ecology and politics.

From June 18 to September 26, 2021, the Technopol association and La Villette have joined forces to develop the concept of ZUT - Temporary Artistic Emergency Zone. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, these events aim to support the resumption of artistic and festive activity during the summer of 2021. I developed their visual identity, namely a logo, an artwork which is available in print + web format and two teasers ranging from 30 to 15 seconds.
Marking the resumption of activity in several sectors, the identity was intended to be strong and impactful with a fluorescent green which also recalls the ecological commitment of the organization. The ZUT targeted a large audience with a wide variety of activities; the identity was therefore based on a motif composed of simple and accessible geometric shapes. The main shapes that make up the motif are variations of the sun and stars, an echo of day and night, but also of the influence that these events will have throughout France.
